Get ready for an epic new Warhammer 40K game this autumn

Get ready for an all-new Warhammer 40,000 mobile game this autumn, titled Warhammer 40K: Freeblade.

This “tap to shoot” game may be mobile, but it sure doesn’t sacrifice on production values. You’ll be able to customize your very own Imperial Knight and embark on an epic 40 campaign missions, with additional Patrol Missions that are dynamically generated. That’s a whole lot of gameplay. And don’t forget about the loot and crafting!

The game is brought to you by Pixel Toys, a team that was founded by just two people in September 2012. And if you’ve heard of Gunfinger, that was also made by them. Best of all, it’s completely free to download, with in-app purchases available for those optional armoury upgrades and paint jobs. The team is still working on figuring out which phones and tablets will be able to play, but I’m afraid my poor old iPhone 4S may not make the cut.
