SpellTower Finally Hits Android!

Great news for Android users: Zach Gage’s incredibly amazing word game SpellTower is ultimately arriving at Google Play and the Amazon App Store. It is expected to be accessible on March 7th. Wow! That’s this Thursday!

Why is this so thrilling? Because SpellTower is brilliant. Essentially, think of it as a pressured word search: ideal for short, highly intense play periods and potentially useful – as Rich Stanton suggests – when it comes to dealing with elderly relatives. (This part is a bit odd and perhaps should be rephrased or reconsidered in a real context.)

The Android version will incorporate all the same features as the iOS release – except for the word definition lookup, which is somewhat confusing – and it will support more than 1800 Android devices, including all Kindle devices. Highscore lists will be accessible through ScoreLoop, and you’ll also have multiplayer via local wifi.

There’s no indication – ha – yet about its price, but it costs £1.49 on iTunes, if that serves as a reference.
