Krafton to Release “Wild West Hotline Miami” – Kill the Crows Next Month

Krafton, the publisher of PUBG: Battlegrounds and The Callisto Protocol by Striking Distance Studios, has joined forces with 5minlabs, the developer of Smash Legends, to bring you Kill the Crows, an outrageously brutal action game. And now, you can give it a go yourself through a new Steam demo.

Described as “Hotline Miami in a Wild West setting”, the demo is now accessible, along with a Smash Legends coupon crossover event that will run until August 1st.

In Kill The Crows, players don the dusty, spurred boots of a gunslinger named Isabella as she embarks on a blood-soaked quest for revenge in a warped, lo-fi version of the Wild West. The team elaborates, “This isn’t your typical Western story. Our fearless heroine squares off against hordes of enemies that have all been transmuted into crow-like creatures. The intricacies of that transformation are among the mysteries that players will uncover as they delve deeper into the narrative.”

In a world where “even a solitary stray bullet can put an end to Isabella’s journey”, you’ll need to move with swiftness and instinct as “the screen gets increasingly crowded with foes and flying bullets”.

Players who manage to accumulate 50 kills during the event will unlock a code that rewards them with 1000 credits, a special enhancement box, and “one limited edition event icon” for use in the PvP action brawler, Smash Legends.

Kill the Crows is slated for release next month in August 2023.
