GTA Online update reveals ‘huge’ shared social space to show off your cars

Two days after the release of its summer update for Red Dead Online, Rockstar has announced its next summer update for GTA Online.

The update, scheduled for July 20th, introduces the Los Santos Tuners, an underground car meet complete with a “massive, shared social space” as well as Tuner-based missions and races.

New races include the self-explanatory Street Race series, the Pursuit series, with randomly placed checkpoints for players to devise their own routes, and Sprint, a point-to-point race in freemode.

In addition, it introduces the LS Car Meet, a shared social space where players can bring and display their custom cars, race against other players, and even “hook up with shady contacts seeking skilled drivers and an opportunity for easy money”.

With the LS Car Meet comes a new membership, allowing players to test drive a car on a test track without being bothered by pedestrians or the police.

Members will also have the chance to participate in rotating prize ride challenges, with the possibility of winning a prize ride and gaining access to shops, including a Merch Shop, Tattoo Shop, and a Modding Area.
