Activision Blizzard Unleashes Film & TV Studio

Activision Blizzard has boldly ventured into the realm of film and television by establishing a studio, aptly named Activision Blizzard Studios. This dynamic studio is dedicated to crafting shows and movies that draw inspiration from its renowned video game franchises.

The studio’s inaugural project is an animated Skylanders show, titled Skylanders Academy. This captivating series will feature an ensemble cast of talented actors. Justin Long, known for his role in “Drag me to Hell”, will breathe life into the character of Spyro. Ashley Tisdale, from “Phineas and Ferb”, will take on the role of Stealth Elf. Jonathan Banks, recognized as Mike from “Breaking Bad”, will portray Eruptor, while Norm Macdonald, a familiar face from “Saturday Night Live”, will bring Glumshanks to the screen. Additionally, Harland Williams and Richard Horvitz will lend their talents in supporting roles.

Not stopping there, Activision Blizzard Studios has ambitious plans for the Call of Duty franchise. They are envisioning not only Call of Duty films but also the potential for a TV series. As per their announcement, the studio aspires to create “a series of Call of Duty feature films as well as the possibility of television adaptations.”
